i need to have a party so that i can set up a table like this:

about dear london

as long as i can remember, i have loved decorating my home and finding or creating special objects that bring life to these four walls, and within the last few years, i've loved dreaming up designs for my baby boy, noah, and more recently for my sweet baby girl, london. i use this blog to document and share random things that inspire me, along with updates on projects i'm working on or have in mind to work on! i'm not a designer (i wish), not an artist (i wish this too), but i do think i have a decent eye for the lovely in life, and my goal is to be a part of some of those creations.

i like things that are pretty. my dog eats out of painted porcelain bowls, i have china tea cups on my living room bookshelves, and i like stacking my scrap fabric in cute piles. to me, it doesn't matter what it is, there is no reason it shouldn't be lovely. simple, pretty things make me smile.

another thing that makes me happy is the thought of london. yes, the city, but also the name of my little girl. the name london conveys all things whimsical, lovely, magical, and romantic to me; hence the name of this blog.
